As a Writer
I began writing short stories and making cartoons as kid, and I’ve been fortunate enough to study fiction at Washington University in St. Louis and screenwriting at the University of Southern California.   Today I walk in a haze, always trying to cook up something new.  Here’s some of my best work:
1. Lucky Penny - Novel for Kids -  A special penny travels across the United States to save the unluckiest family in the history of mankind.  About 40,000 words.
2. The Dooley Twins - $ We Solve Crimes for Cash $ - Novel for Kids -  Two girls investigate crimes in a trailer park.  Each mystery has a hidden solution that readers can try to figure out.  About 60,000 words.
3. Distribution - Feature-length Screenplay, Comedy -  On the night before the biggest history test of the year, a closet case valedictorian ventures into the city to make a little history of his own.  Finalist, Scriptapalooza Screenplay Competition; Finalist, Screenwriting Expo 3 Competition.
4. Lemon Grove - Feature-length Screenplay, Comedy -  A teenage girl declares an all-out style war to become the undisputed punk rock princess of a small town in Illinois.  Winner, Slamdance Screenplay Competition.
